A Rant

The Western States Lottery was held this past weekend and my husband (John) was there to watch and wait. He called me later in the day to say that he had gotten in through a aid station. I find this odd because he has ran this event several years in a row and an aid station still let him in. My question is this. Other people are turned away for years and John gets in someway every single year. I would like to know why this keeps happening and why the ultra community is okay with this.

I love this post! I should also add that Scott Jurek was never talented enough to run at the collegiate level. It's taboo for me to say this but it's true.
